The Reverends Anastasia and Chad William Kidd identify the films we offer for Faith and film at Sanctuary, prepare us for the screening and lead the discussion that follows – which always deepens and broadens the viewers’ experience of the films and of the community formed when we share and discover the film together in community.
Rev. Dr. Anastasia E. B. Kidd is the Director of Enrollment at Boston University School of Theology and is Co-Pastor and Teacher, with her spouse, of First Congregational Parish, UCC in Truro, MA.
In addition to serving in Truro, Rev. Chad William Kidd is the Pastoral Ministries Manager at Brooksby Village, a large retirement community in Peabody, MA. He is also the Worship Coordinator and Director of Seminary Singers at Boston University School of Theology and has been the longtime Minister of Music at First Congregational Church, UCC, in Reading, MA.
Anastasia and Chad have always loved film, but developed their skills and interest in the intersection of faith and film while attending Seminary together. They take in film as a pastime and can be seen regularly watching 6+ films in the theatre all in the same day!
