Join us for an interfaith celebration of the incredible bond between animals and humans. No matter your or your pet’s tradition — Christian\, Jewish\, Buddhist\, and beyond — we’ll be ready to offer blessings in a variety of spiritual practices for creatures big and small.\n\n\nBring your dog\, cat\, rabbit\, bird\, lizard\, or even your goldfish! This is an open invitation to all beloved pets\, and you don’t have to belong to any particular faith to participate. Just come as you are\, and let’s celebrate the joy and wonder our animal companions bring to our lives.\n\n\nWhat to expect:\n– Pet blessings offered in multiple faith traditions– A fun\, inclusive\, and welcoming environment– Water stations and treats for your furry friends– Pet photo booth (because who doesn’t want a blessed selfie?)\n\n\nAll animals must be on a leash or in a carrier. A group discussion will follow after the screening. \nWhere Olive Trees Weep offers a searing window into the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. It explores themes of loss\, trauma\, and the quest for justice. \nWe follow\, among others\, Palestinian journalist and therapist Ashira Darwish\, grassroots activist Ahed Tamimi\, and Israeli journalist Amira Hass. We also witness Dr. Gabor Maté offer trauma-healing work to a group of women who were tortured in Israeli prisons. \nAncient landscapes bear deep scars\, having witnessed the brutal reality of ancestral land confiscation\, expulsions\, imprisonment\, home demolitions\, water deprivation\, and denial of basic human rights.
