While some churches shun pop culture, Sanctuary UCC believes it provides us with amazing opportunities to reflect on who we are and what matters to us most. In our faith and film series, we invite our community together to reflect on recent films through the lens of spirituality.
Each month, we show a new hi-def film on our large movie screen. We offer comfortable seating and light snacks, followed by a lively discussion led by our brilliant film buffs and theologians, Anna and Chad Kidd.
BYO beer, wine, and soda. A free will offering will be collected after the film – please help support this vital ministry!

From the reviews:
“sensitive, suspenseful , weighty…”
“Religion, First Reformed suggests, is easy. It’s faith that’s hard.”
“First Reformed asks us to take another look at what we think we know about politics, religion and other things we like to argue about, and asks nothing more than our quiet attention.”
Chad & Anna Kidd will lead the discussion. BYOB. Bring your own beer, wine or soda and experience the places where Pop culture meets our faith. We will watch a current film followed by a discussion about themes of morality, faith, and humanity led by local theologians and community leaders.
This Film Screening and Discussion are free – suggested $10.00 donation is welcomed.
