am2pm is back this summer (provided we have enough interest) — and we want to know if you’re in!!
What is am2pm?
am2pm is a one-week, immersive program for rising 9th through 12th graders that combines hands-on community service with real conversation about why the work matters. From morning to evening — AM to PM, get it — students spend the week doing things like serving meals, working on a community farm, supporting local arts projects, and meeting the hunger advocates, climate activists, and grassroots organizers who are already changing our communities. It’s service with substance. Students leave with more than a few hours logged (40 hours to be exact) — they leave with perspective, relationships, and a sense of what they’re actually capable of.
About Summer 2026
This year is a transitional one for am2pm. The program continues as a partnership between Sanctuary and Grace Episcopal, and we’re grateful for that history. Over the coming years, Grace will take the lead in carrying AM2PM forward — so 2026 is a meaningful bridge moment for the program and for both communities.
For summer 2026, we’re offering a focused, five-day version of the program: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The purpose is the same — meaningful service, real experiences, and the kind of reflection that makes it stick. We’re keeping the program to high school students only this year, which means a tighter group, better conversations, and a more intentional experience for everyone.
Program Costs
We want am2pm to be accessible, and we offer three options:
- Full Pay — $500: This covers everything for the 5-days — all program experiences, transportation, midday meals, and snacks. It reflects the true cost of running the program.
- Partial Pay: Pay what you can. No judgment, no questions.
- Scholarship: If your household is income-eligible (see the chart linked here), we can cover the full cost of the program.
Available Weeks
We’re planning to offer the program during one of these weeks in August and need to know what works for you:
- August 10 – 14 (M-F, 8:30 am – 5 pm)
- August 17 – 21 (M-F, 8:30 am – 5 pm)
- August 24 – 28 (M-F, 8:30 am – 5 pm)
Here’s what we’re asking of you right now:
Fill out this short interest form to let us know that you/your student wants to participate and which weeks work for your family. We’re collecting responses through April 4.
Once we see how many families are interested and which weeks have the most availability, we’ll confirm whether a program is happening — and for which week — and invite you to complete a full registration at that time.
