The practice of Christian Evening Prayer is grounded in our Jewish heritage and comes in many forms. The lighting of candles or lamps celebrates the Light of Christ in our midst and the Daily Lectionary guides the prayer time with Psalms and Scripture chosen for personal devotions.
All are welcome to join in praying for mercy for each other, healing for those in need, the welfare of the community and the world, and for grace and peace in our midst.
Evening Prayer will be led by Andrew Hill and other lay members of the Hillside/Sanctuary Community.
