CALL TO SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – ONLINE ONLY

Dear Sanctuary UCC Members and Partners,

You are called, and your presence and participation are faithfully requested at a Special Congregational Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 01, 2025 at 7:00 pm via Zoom Meeting; the access for which is listed below.

Given the unexpected ending of the Hillside/Sanctuary partnership and merger negotiations (on March 23, 2025); and the need for further spiritual discernment as well as practical negotiations about our mission, ministry, and operations, the Sanctuary Leadership Circle proposes the following agenda for this Special Congregational Meeting (in place of the July All Hands/Leadership Meeting):

1. 1. Vote to move the 2025 Sanctuary Annual Meeting (normally held “no later than the first Sunday of July”) to be held no later than the first Sunday of November;
   2. Vote to extend through the six month period of July 1, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2025 for the purpose of Sanctuary operations  
      1. The monthly budget allocations in place for FY2025 Budget;
      2. The Leadership/Bylaw Adjustments approved for FY2025 (Committee of the Whole Model & Suspension of Committees)
      3. The Lead Pastor’s Contract.
   3. Vote to engage in further planning and discernment through this period so as to complete the Annual Meeting and decision making called forth from that process.
