A couple of weeks ago – I went to a cool coffee shop whose tag line and T Shirts read – Live Out Love. In fact – I picked up a free rubber band bracelet with those very words on it!
I like this idea – and that sweet play on words – “Live Out Love.”
It sounds so much like Jesus – to live out love.
It sounds so much like what Jesus taught his followers – to live out love.
If only it was what Jesus’ followers actually did – to live out love.
Beloved, this is all that God wants for and from us – to live out love.
- The kind of love-living that shows mercy.
- The kind of love-living that builds people up.
- The kind of love-living that sees no stranger, and practices the golden rule, and sets a table where everyone is welcome and everyone is fed.
This living out love is not necessarily easy – but it is simple. We just need to say “yes” to it – every day.
I am gonna start today – how about you? Let’s live out love – together.
