Have you noticed how much more fun it is to do life when you get to do it with others? I mean even for the introverts amongst us –
there is value in not going it alone.
There is strength in numbers.
There is relief when we can balance a burden.
There is more joy in a journey shared.
Learning and study is a whole lot more interesting when we consider more than our own perspectives. Prayer, meditation, and other spiritual practices take on new energy and heart when done in a circle. And you can’t very well spread love and care around without working with others!
Our spiritual condition benefits from being in Community and making Connections! Because God did not intend for us to go it alone. You have just been though some of the most isolating times in human history.
So I don’t need to tell you how much better it is to DO community – you can just go be community. Find someone to help. Offer an ear to one who is lonely. Share your story with another and look for the connections. Even IF it is only on zoom.
Because being in community will make you stronger and hold you close – especially during this crazy Covid re-boot. Beloved, God created you to be connected through the love and grace that you share with each other. So go do some of that. It’ll give you the courage to keep on keeping on.
