How will you know what is possible if you never try?
Most of us know what it feels like to be a beginner: uncertain, awkward, and painfully aware that what we have made or attempted does not yet resemble what we hoped it would be. It is tempting to compare ourselves with people who make it look easy, or to decide that one disappointing result tells us what we are capable of. But failure may not be the end of the story. It may simply be where learning begins.
This Sunday, Soul Circle begins a three-week series inspired by Kobi Yamada’s three book series, beginning with Trying, a beautifully illustrated story about failure, encouragement, and discovering what becomes possible when we are willing to begin again.
Come hear the story, reflect on your own experience of trying, and rest for a while in the grace that gives us room to be unfinished.
