AM2PM is a one week intensive community service program for high school students.

From morning (AM) till night (PM), participants will Adore Medford (AM) to Prosper Medford (PM). The students will engage the community through various kinds of service, ranging from classical modes to more emergent ways of being sanctuary.

The aim is for participants to earn all (or most) of the community service hours needed to fulfill the Medford High School sixty hour community service requirement for graduation. The hope is that students will be able to focus more on academics and other extracurricular activities when the school year begins. AM.2.PM students will also increase their leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and expand their social consciousness. The program can be included on their resumes and college applications.

Students from all high schools are welcome to participate.  Most service activities will take place in Medford and surrounding communities.

In the summer of 2016 youth, volunteer and staff adults served as follows: Mystic River Clean Up, Shiloh Baptist Maintenance Projects, UU Medford Food Pantry, Brooks Estate Maintenance, Being Served at Bread of Life Dinner, Medford Senior Center Service, Cook and Serve at Bread of Life, Malden, Served as extra hands at  a fund-raiser/Arts Festival in Concord, Took a guided walk to Wrights Tower with the Friends of the Fells, Served at Hoops to Hope Fund Raiser (at the West Medford Community Center)
