From morning (AM) till night (PM), participants will Adore Medford (AM) to Prosper Medford (PM). The students will engage the community through various kinds of service, ranging from classical modes to more emergent ways of being sanctuary.
The aim is for participants to earn all (or most) of the community service hours needed to fulfill the Medford High School sixty hour community service requirement for graduation. The hope is that students will be able to focus more on academics and other extracurricular activities when the school year begins. AM.2.PM students will also increase their leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and expand their social consciousness. The program can be included on their resumes and college applications.
Students from all High schools are welcome to participate. Most service activities will take place in Medford and surrounding communities.
Supervision and safety will be assured via trained and background checked staff. The program director is Rev. Lambert Rahming, Community Minister.
