Intermittent fasting is all the rage these days – and we can understand why! There are proven health benefits including weight loss, cell repair, and increased metabolism, but it is not easy to not eat in a culture obsessed with food! Ironically, the spiritual habit of fasting – practiced by faith traditions around the world – is about turning your focus away from the body and toward the soul.
